At the time of the lockdown, it came to the mind of Mr. Jay S Kamdar, the Managing Director and Chairman of Sun Group that he needs to create a business where he will be able to generate more jobs for those who have lost their livelihood due to the pandemic and lockdown. He also realized that there is an essential need for good security. Thus, he came up with the idea of opening a security service provider agency. He launched Sun Guard Securities (SGS) in 2021, aiming to provide quality security services in Kolkata.
